Sara Gideon (born Sara Marie Flanagan, December 4, 1971) is an American politician who served as the Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. A member of the Democratic Party, she represented District 48, which comprised Freeport and Pownal, in the Maine House.

Before becoming Speaker, Gideon served as the House Majority Leader.
